May 15 to 20, 2016 at the Monastère des Augustines
Québec City, Canada

Dear colleagues committed to health and wellness!

Le Monastere des Augustines is delighted to be hosting the 2016 Holistic Centers Gathering. Located in the heart of Old Quebec City, Canada, Le Monastere des Augustines, site of the continent’s first hospital north of Mexico was sensitively restored and redesigned. The Monastere offers a unique wellness experience and many imaginative ways to connect with the Augustinian Sisters’ remarkable heritage. The Augustinian Sisters arrived from Europe in 1639 amongst the first ships of settlers, as apothecaries and nurses. For nearly four centuries, they devoted themselves to caring for the bodies and souls, while laying the foundation for our modern healthcare system.

Within a secular environment, the Monastère offers experiential accommodation in an authentic 17th century cloister; a museum tracing the evolution of medical through the ages; activities and programs in holistic health; food inspired by the principle of mindful eating; a boutique, an archive center, and much more.

Each year, the Holistic Centers Gathering is a rich and beautiful opportunity for owners, directors, managers and co-workers of holistic centers, health hotels and resorts and communities to meet with their peers from around the world. We invite you to join us for this uniquely valuable experience of learning and support, the practical exchange of ideas, insights and information, and bonding through shared values and intentions.

Explore the strength that comes through the linking up of organizations and enjoy the relationships that evolve during this time together. Find inspiration from the warm atmosphere that consistently animate this annual Gathering, and return home more inspired, aware and energised about how we can successfully achieve both our individual and global mission.
